That representative decided deny me my legislative debut. I guess he decided that he'd make more friends by being brief, even if he did lose my respect. After all, the same bill passed out of committee last year, so he pretty much knew he had it in the bag. The main problem with this is that it deprived me of the opportunity to be heard by millions of people all over the world (via Webcasting). So you'll just have to read my eloquent statement instead. Picture me in my long, straight black skirt, and celery green, 100% cotton, Banana Republic button down with French cuffs, black nylons, and black Skechers. Of course my makeup was perfect, and every hair was in place--mostly (sorry about the split ends--I really need to have those trimmed).
The good news is, the committee voted to recommend the bill. Next issue! Many Utah children suffer from allergies so severe that they are unable to go anywhere without an EpiPen.
In order to enable these children to attend public school, their parents are frequently forced to circumvent school policy by not only sending children to school with their EpiPens, but by training teachers and school staff to administer the epinephrine in the event of a severe allergic reaction.
Utah PTA supports legislation that will allow all Utah children with severe allergies to attend public school with their medication, without fear of reprecussion against themselves, their parents, teachers or school staff.
Students with asthma and diabetes are now able to receive their necessary medications--please recommend this legislation that will allow similar life-saving steps to be taken for children with severe allergies. Thank you.

I can't remain a lurker anymore...because I have to tell you...your labels are HILARIOUS! Talk about icing on the cake!
Thanks!
Okay - either he has a crush on you (split-ends and all) or he wanted to make sure that an intelligent, articulate person was there to back him up if he needed it, and to thwart the crazy people who want to comment about anything and everything, regardless of the fact they may not have anything to add to the discussion, and may not be coherent as they spout their antecdotes and general craziness.
But, I can't imagine anyone that crazy, so... I think he may have a crush on you (it's the sketchers - and you look fab in celery).
